Dr. Jay Hildreth graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas, in 1962. After attending The University of Kansas and University of Missouri at Kansas City for undergraduate studies, he entered the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School, graduating in 1969. He married his wife, Judy in June of 1967.
They moved to Fort Knox, Kentucky in August of 1969 as Dr. Hildreth served in the Army Dental Corps until August of 1971. While they were in Ft. Knox their first son, Jim was born. Their second son, Rob, was born in October of 1972. Dr. Hildreth practiced in Wamego, KS, until 2000. At that time, he semi-retired. Rob has three children. Jay and Judy enjoy their time following their grandchildren’s activities. He has extensive experience in all phases of dentistry including restorative, crown, bridges, endodontics, extractions, preventive and periodontal.
For recreation Dr. Hildreth enjoys canoeing, boating, fishing, camping, and travel. He also enjoys playing Bridge with Judy during the winter months.
Dr. Steve Huskey has been a dentist for over 30 years. He has practiced in all phases of dentistry and has helped a lot of people.
His main strength is honesty and vision. We see a lot of patients here at Dental Corner with severe problems that have been ongoing for years. He enjoys finding practical and affordable solutions for folks that will finally enable them to have a healthy mouth. It is so important. Meet Our Dentists of Dental Corner
Dr. Rose was born in Darlove, MS in 1955. He is number nine of ten children. He graduated valedictorian of his class from Simmons High School in Hollandale, MS in 1974. He attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS from 1974 to 1978. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French in 1978. Dr. Rose’s first job after graduation, with his degree in French, was a bus driver for a blood bank in Jackson. He applied for Dental Hygiene School in 1979 at the School of Health Related Professions in Jackson, MS. This institution was part of the University of Mississippi campus in Jackson, MS. He graduated with a certificate in Dental Hygiene in 1981.
Dr. Rose worked as a Dental Hygienist for seven years at Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center in Jackson, MS.
Dr. Rose applied for Dental School in 1986. He started class at the University of Missouri in 1987. He completed his training in 1991 after having earned his DDS degree. He accepted a position in a GPR Program at the University of Texas (Houston Branch) in 1991. He completed the general practice residency in 1992 with a certificate of completion. The GPR was designed to help general dentist’s become skilled in hospital based dentistry. We were trained to work with physicians in hospital emergency rooms.
